Hello and welcome to the Strait Gate Bible Church website! My name is Chad Ritch and I’m the Pastor of Strait Gate Bible Church. My wife Kassi and I have been married for thirteen years and have five children; Matthew, Madelynn, Levi, Andrew, and Benjamin. I grew up in Haines City Florida and my parents raised us (my sister and I) in church. At ten years old I accepted Jesus Christ as my saviour and I’ve been saved ever since! At the time we attended First Missionary Baptist Church in Auburndale Florida. I was baptized there by Pastor David Gurgel. I would like to tell you that everything went perfect from that day forward, but that is not the case. I pursued a life in sports as a young man and even went to college playing baseball. This is were I met my wife and therefore I am grateful for those days. At the age of twenty three I began to heavily read and study my Bible. The years to follow God has brought my family and I through many trials, triumphs, and valleys. I believe God will lead us according to his plan and timing. We have to be careful not to get ahead of God. At the age of twenty seven I had a desire to become a bishop. From that point forward God has been leading us along his path. In January of 2024 at First Baptist Church of Jesus Christ in Winter Haven Florida, Pastor Clyde Foster and the presbytery ordained me as a Pastor. About two months later on April 7th, we had our first service here at Strait Gate Bible Church. I thank God for the people he has put in our lives and for the grace he has bestowed upon us all. We want to see people grow in that grace and in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. I hope you will consider coming and visiting with us on a Sunday or Thursday service. Keep us in your prayers!
